Reiki Barcelona – Reiki Training and Healing Sessions in E'ixample
My Barcelona practice is based in Eixample, where I offer Reiki trainings and hold individual Reiki sessions. I am Hande Özerden, founder of Reiki Gaia, and this is the city where my Reiki path first opened more than twenty years ago. After two decades of living and teaching in Spain and England, working here still feels like returning to the source. Sessions and trainings are available in English, Spanish and Turkish, and my door is open to the international community that makes this city what it is. Come with whatever you carry — a restless mind, a heavy heart or a medical process that needs gentle support — and you will find sincere, conscious guidance.

One thing is asked of you in a session: permission. I open the space and channel the energy; you sink into a deep quiet where the body remembers how to settle itself. We can work face-to-face in my Eixample space, or through distance Reiki (online), wherever in the world you may be.

Sound reaches places hands cannot. When the quartz crystal bowls begin to sound, their resonance moves through the body in slow waves, and the mind gives up its noise almost without noticing. Reiki Barcelona: Why Reiki Gaia?
Barcelona is not simply one of the cities I work in; it is where everything started. More than twenty years ago, in this city, I began studying under Reiki Master Virginia Gomar. The years I had the privilege of spending in her presence and learning from her wisdom left a lasting imprint on me and shaped the healer I am today. Since those first days, I have remained faithful to the lineage and standards of the Spanish Reiki Alliance.
Life then carried me between Spain and England for twenty years, and Reiki travelled with me the whole way. Sharing it across so many cultures and languages taught me that healing speaks every tongue; today I continue that work between Barcelona, Istanbul and London. Each person who finds their way to me brings a story of their own, and in every session and every training, my intention remains the same: to meet that story with an open heart and from an honest place, so that it can finally begin to flow.
I also keep my trainings deliberately small. In a small group, every student is truly seen, receives personal guidance, and is given the space that real transformation needs. Whether you are taking your very first step into Reiki or deepening a practice of many years, I am here to walk beside you—with presence, with the clarity of Truth, and from the heart.

The Roots of Reiki Gaia:
Whispers of Lemuria and the Pleiades
The name Reiki Gaia carries a story. For the ancient Greeks, Gaia was the Earth herself: the living mother who feeds us, carries us, and heals us. I chose this name to honour a connection that moves in two directions at once: down into the Earth and up towards the stars.
My own path has never been shaped by traditional Reiki teachings alone. Alongside them walks an older wisdom, one I have come to know through Lemuria and the Pleiades. It has accompanied me quietly for many years, like a teacher who never raises her voice.
Everything I offer in sessions and trainings comes from this same place. And the intention behind it has never changed: to open a safe space where you can return to your own essence.
