How Does Reiki Heal Diseases?
The invisible life energy flows within us and ensures our survival. If this energy is low, our resistance to illness and stress decreases. If this energy is high, our capacity to be happy and healthy increases.
If the proper flow of “Ki,” or life energy, is disrupted due to any internal or external factor, blockages and imbalances occur in the body and mind, leading to illness. In other words, every illness is a result of disruptions in the flow of Ki and serves as a warning from our soul to prevent imbalances in our lives and guide us back to peace and truth.
Reiki is not about eliminating bad energies but about raising their vibrations. It aims to learn through wisdom rather than suffering. With Reiki energy, a person discovers the root cause of their suffering, and while their body heals, the thought patterns or emotions that created the illness also heal and do not recur.
How Does Reiki Work?
Life force energy flows through pathways in our physical body known as chakras, meridians, and nadis. It also circulates within the energy field surrounding our body, known as the aura.
Life force energy nourishes organs and cells. When this energy flow is blocked, the organs and cells it supports cannot function properly.
This energy is disrupted when we hold negative thoughts or emotions about ourselves, whether consciously or unconsciously.
Reiki heals by following these disrupted energy networks and replenishing them with life force energy. It increases the vibrational level of the energy networks within and around our body that are associated with these negative thoughts and emotions. This causes these thoughts and emotions to disappear, allowing life energy to flow correctly and healthily through our body.
How Does a Reiki Session Feel?
A Reiki session feels like floating inside a bubble of light, bringing different levels of consciousness and spiritual experiences.
Reiki energy heals the person as a whole—physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. At the end of a Reiki session, the most commonly felt emotions are relaxation, peace, confidence, and an overall sense of well-being.
How Does Reiki Training Help Us?
Since Reiki is the “Energy of Unconditional Love,” it helps us open up to others, strengthens our intuition, boosts our self-confidence, and supports our spiritual growth.
Participating in Reiki training means being ready to accept your personal power. The source of this power is the creative energy given to us at birth, and its essence is a sense of responsibility. This responsibility promotes brotherhood and solidarity among people.
Can Reiki Be Harmful in Any Situation?
The person giving Reiki is not actually the healer. They are merely a channel that allows Reiki energy to flow through them. The healer is not the practitioner but the Reiki energy itself. During a Reiki session, the practitioner sets aside their personality and ego. Reiki energy is intelligent, knowing where it needs to go and following nature’s balance. The Reiki practitioner steps aside mentally and offers their body as a vessel for this energy. A client never receives too much or too little Reiki energy during a session.
Does a Reiki Practitioner Get Tired?
Reiki is channeled energy; we never give our own energy. While channeling Reiki energy, we also absorb as much as we need, so we do not feel tired. On the contrary, if we feel exhausted, we can restore our energy by channeling Reiki energy to ourselves or others.
