Are there cases where Reiki can be harmful?

The person who gives the Reiki energy is not actually the one who does the treatment. He is just a channel who gives the permition for the Reiki energy to flow through him. He is not the one who heals, it is rather the Reiki energy that does the healing. The Reiki therapist leaves his personality, his ego outside the room. The reiki energy has got its own intelligence, it knows where to flow, it follows the balance of the nature. The reiki therapist leaves his mind outside and offers his body to the use of the energy. During a Reiki session, one never receives too much or too little reiki energy.

Does the person, that gives the Reiki session, get tired?

Reiki is channelled, we never give our own energy. While we are channelling the reiki energy, we are filled with its healing as well, since we never feel tired. On the contrary, if we feel tired, we may give ourself or give to the others Reiki treatment to regain our strength.
